Advancing Student Achievement Program (ASAP) allows former CSUN students the ability to enroll in CSUN’s Fall Semester, Spring Semesters and Summer Sessions.
ASAP for Academically Disqualified CSUN Students
If you are currently on academic disqualification, you are eligible to enroll in classes through ASAP to meet academic requirements and possibly apply for readmission.
Before you can enroll, you will need to make an appointment with the Associate Dean of the college of your major to discuss your plans for readmission.
After meeting with the Associate Dean or their delegate, you should have identified courses to start you on the path to reentry. As a result of this meeting, you will receive guidance in which classes to enroll and how to get permission numbers to add classes, if needed.
Important notice:
- Enrollment is on a space-available basis (even with a permission number), as CSUN degree-seeking students have enrollment priority. Also, the waitlist feature is not available during enrollment.
- CSUN students who are not currently admitted and enrolled in a degree or certificate program at CSUN, are eligible to enroll in courses.
- This program does not issue a SEVIS Form I-20 to re-enter or remain in the U.S. and therefore cannot serve disqualified CSUN international students.
- For limits on degree-applicable credits, see: Applying Credit to a CSUN Degree.
